"The staff is nice and knowledgeable. However I came in on Saturday and seen a little child working along his mom. I heard the other workers say it was the store manager wife and child. She was not in uniform and ringing people up. I didn’t know AutoZone allowed this. Things have surely changed since I last worked with autozone. That was no place for your spouse and child to be."

"My service experience turned out to be pleasant and successful. I went in to get my battery tested. There were three customers waiting in line. I was the third. Three teenage boys walked in and decided to cut the line. The second waiting customer told them where the line started and ended. I responded, "Yes, that's right; you're behind me." They shopped around a bit giggling and talking. When the second customer completed his transaction, the three teenagers jumped right in front of me. I told Steve that I was next in line. Steve handled the situation with integrity. He acknowledged the boys and told them they had to wait their turn. Steve proceeded to serve me. He tested my battery and installed it professionally, kindly, and apologetically. Thanks Steve for a job well done from beginning to end. Happy New Year!"

"I came in Saturday morning around 11:30 on the 28th to get my code read because my engine light came on while I was on my way to work. I called ahead to see if this was possibility since I knew I would be in somewhat of a hurry. Any time I’ve ever used this service at other locations this has never been an issue and always a relatively quick process. When I arrived, there were about 2 customers in store shopping so I went to the only guy working on the floor, there was one other employee but he was off to the side maybe stocking or something. I asked him if he could help with reading my code and he asked if I knew where the port to connect the reader was. I hesitantly replied with “not really” because I wasn’t sure why that was relevant. He then handed me the code reader and told me to do it myself or wait until all his “paying customers” left the store. I told him I would have to wait since I was unsure how to do it. I understand it’s a free service but how am I supposed to be a paying customer if I’m not sure what part I need to buy if no one reads the code. So we both just stood there waiting for a bit while the other customers were shopping. After a little bit of waiting, another customer walked in the store, I realized it was going to be a long time before I got helped since apparently the method at this location is waiting until the store is completely empty until they can help outside. In my opinion it would’ve made more sense if he helped me while the customers were shopping around since there was technically another employee to oversee the store, that way by the time we were done, maybe the customers would finally be ready to check out. Instead we’re both literally just standing there doing nothing while I’m late to work at this point. Maybe they just need to have more employees working on a Saturday morning as I would assume this is their busiest time. Finally I decided to leave because I couldn’t wait any longer. As I get in the car and go to pull out, I see that same employee leave the store to go help a guy that came in long after me, to go help look at something under the hood of his truck. I’m not sure if he didn’t want to help me because I’m a female or because I wasn’t a “paying customer” but again, how am I supposed to buy anything if I don’t know what part to buy? Anyways I ended up going to a different store after I got off work, they quickly helped me, and I bought the part there so that my dad could fix my car the same day. I’m sure it doesn’t matter but autozone missed out on a sale that day because of poor customer service. I’m sure management doesn’t care about this review if this is how the employees are trained to do things at this location."
