"I think people misinterpret J&D Caribbean Cuisine thinking it specializes in Jamaican food. This is a Trinidadian restaurant, there for don't go there with high hopes of getting Jamaican style food like Rice & Peas, curry goat, jerk chicken etc. The only thing there that is some what Jamaican are the Beef Patties. The Trinidadian food there is wonderful. They have a fish & Chips that tastes phenomenal. Great tasting Roti and the Sunday lunch is on point as well. I recommend anyone to go try them out. And they're nice people too just to mention."

"These DOUBLES must be super amazing! I went twice in one weekend and SOLD OUT! Next time I am camping-out or calling-in my order two days before. It's almost an hour drive one way! And it's more than worth it! Fyi, I would drive 2hours for this delicious comfort food! I would say, ALOO PIE is next best thing if you miss out on the DOUBLES!"
"Must try #roti shop! Serving authentic #Caribbean food from the multicultural #cuisine of #Trinidad and #Tobago, the best tasting #food on planet earth. You will get, doubles (curried #chickpeas sandwich), #dhalpuri roti, #paratha roti, curried goat, chicken, beef, shrimp, lots of snacks like #kurma, as well as, a lot #grocery items like #Crix crackers, #ketchup and #sorrel. The atmosphere is terrific. This place is always busy, a constant stream of people. Plus there's adequate seating for indoor dining."
