Gloria Mae's Fish Shack (Food Truck)

"Went to Little Woodrows off of 249 and Gloria Mae's had a food truck set up there. Staff was super friendly and answered all my questions. I ended. Up ordering the spicy chicken strip dinner with toast and okra. It took about 15 minutes for my food to be ready and it was worth the little wait. The spicy chicken strips had a nice little kick to them and their dipping sauce was a perfect compliment! The toast was nice and buttery and the fried okra was some of the best I have ever had! Highly recommend Gloria Mae's if you're looking for some southern fried goodness!"

"First time trying the food from here & whew!!! Everything was DELICIOUS! It’s hard to find a place that serves GOOD fried fish & shrimp. We had an order of the boudin balls, 2pc catfish & 4 butterfly shrimp combo & the 3 strips, 2 boudin balls & fries combo. Both combos came with a drink(canned soda). The owner was friendly & even shared that some of the menu items are named after their children! I’ll definitely be returning! There are also more side item options that aren’t listed on the menu! Great food!"

"The loaded Shrimp fries what can I say. It will make you slap Yo momma, becarful because yo momma might slap you back. Lol Anyway first the truck was clean and the Mother Daughter Duo was sweet as pie. My fries were hot and fresh and had a good flavor. The portions are very nice, I could taste shrimp in every bite. Best PART FOR ME IS I LOVE SMALL BUSINESSES LOVE IT LOVE IT. PLEASE GO CHECK THEM OUT AND SUPPORT.... OH ADDED PLUS IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO FISH AS I AM (I CAN EAT SHELL FISH) THEY HAVE OTHER OPTIONS AND THEY DONT COOK THEIR CHICKEN IN THE FISH GREASE.... Oh and don't be cheap leave the nice ladies a tip lol"

"This place is really good and their prices are definitely worth the purchase! Please come and support this black owned business. The only thing I would suggest is that a drink and a roll be included in the combo. On the truck it says they don’t accept cash or check but card only. I didn’t see this sign until she allowed me to pay with cash, which I was grateful for. I get wanting to keep all your transactions electronic! So bring card! I got the 2 PC Catfish dinner with fries and hush puppies. Although, I don’t like hush puppies, she offered me a boudin ball and it was GOOD! They’re currently only open on weekends (Friday through Sunday)"
