"Nice restaurant, it was a shame it was raining or we would have sat outside. The food was excellent. I had fish fillet and my wife had the fajitas. The ice cream and churros were huge. Luckily the waiter suggested not to order three portions."

"It is a nice restaurant. It is more a Tex-mex food than Mexican food. If you add cheddar cheese to Mexican food, you turn it into something else. The cheese that is used in Mexican food is Panela cheese or even Monterrey Jack but not yellow cheese. We ordered fajitas. The Fajitas were good along with the rice and the guacamole, but the refried beans were not so good. We also tried the nachos and the chicken nuggets but were good."

"Came to eat some authentic Mexican food , the pictures look amazing. I ordered the tamales dinner , the food wasn’t that hot. The tamales didn’t have much taste , super disappointed with the rice. "My husband came here for the first time today for lunch with my in laws, he loved it so much that he took me, our boys, and my sister for dinner. Such a hidden gem!! My first time, so far, the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Katy, best enchiladas, and margaritas in Katy so far!!!! Great service, Salazar was very friendly and very attentive. Will definitely be coming back and asking for Salazar!"

"Update: Went back on a Thursday evening and this time I ordered enchiladas Verdes.....much much better! Also got the table side guacamole, which was fresh and delicious! Our server was busy, but attentive. Also the restaurant was a bit less busy and the music wasn't so loud this visit, so I could hear the conversation at my table. Overall much better experience. Probably best to go on weeknights and avoid on busy weekend nights. Original review: Visually a very cool place, but it was far too loud to hear the person right next to you. My dish (one of the combination plates) was rather bland. The server was nice, but at the end of our meal he was no where to be found and we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get our check. I think he literally forgot we were still there."
