Bechants Men's

"When you're a store on the Hill Country Mile, you know you're going to have customers from surrounding communities. A good first impression really sets the tone for visitors of our amazing little town. However, this store lacks very basic customer service skills as evident by the other reviews. I'm guessing it really doesn't matter to them. We live in Boerne and have shopped here on a few occasions. Today will be the last time we shop at Bechants. The staff followed my wife and mother-in-law around, not to help, but to play security. No one greeted them, no one smiled, no offers to help. I guess we don't look the part of a Bechants ideal customer. I can assure them we can afford every overpriced item they have in the store. But I'd rather spend our money in the many other stores on Main St. Many owned by our friends who are pleasant, helpful and appreciate their customers (local or visiting). I hope the owners are listening. A little customer service goes a long way and would most certainly improve your bottom line. The two certainly go hand in hand."

"You will pay full price for everything. It's cheaper to buy these brands online and pay for shipping than shop here. You can only return for store credit, which I find annoying considering how much they charge for everything. Lastly, the family that runs this establishment are unethical and do not treat their employees, let alone their patrons, with respect and dignity. I would take your money elsewhere."

"Went in with my wife to kind of browse around to see what I like since my birthday was coming up in a few weeks. I noticed that I was followed around very closely as I was trying to enjoy myself checking out the shop. The owner should be ashamed and I saw the other reviews that the door was locked , I did not notice that since I was actually trying to look around but from my peripheral vision and even close up vision this person was close enough that I could reach my arm out and touch them but yet I was not asked if I needed any help or if I could use any assistance finding anything. This establishment makes it very clear that they're very judgemental on appearance and they will go out of their way to make you uncomfortable, so I left very quickly and I don't normally leave a store without buying anything and I will not be returning as well as telling my friends and family about this place."

"Charming shop with a unique vibe to what men’s stores should be like. I truly wish there were more stores with this type of layout, interior design, and range of products (I.e., brands) in the larger cities (especially Austin and Houston) One thing that could use some improvement is the customer service … it lacked a basic Texan / southern hospitality charm which I have grown up with in this state… no greeting , no inquiry’s on whether as a customer I need any assistance, no acknowledgment at all ….. as someone who could actually afford the goods and their price point I found this made the experience a little disappointing and walked out today."

"Went there for the first time, horrible experience. Was followed the entirety of my time spent looking by the snobby employees, as if it was assumed that a 22 year old is going to steal something. When I entered the store the doors were unlocked, and they decided to lock the doors to prevent “stealing” when I had no intention of stealing anything. If I wanted to I could’ve purchased anything in that store but will 100% never return. I will find the items I might’ve been interested in from a different business."
