"Food is not bad at all. Good portions and solid flavor. However it is pricey. It is not fast food by any means. They do not offer water cups. You have to pay $3 for sauces. No kids menu. It comes out blazing hot (which could be a good thing for some people). Plates are paper and not high quality. Atmosphere is a strip mall, nothing to write home about. If you're really wanting fish and chips and willing to pay for it, sure. But not my favorite."

"Family run fish n chips, with amazing service. I had a bunch of questions on the batter and if they could fry it separately for muslim customers (to avoid cross contamination with pork sausage and non halal chicken) and they can! I prefer haddock with curry sauce. The fish is golden crispy and soft and tender inside. The portion is huge. Definitely hit the mark for me..!"

"I ordered Cod fish & chips. The portion of fish ( many British fish&chip spots sell fish finger) is considered “normal” compared to the one I had in the U.K. The batter is soft, but the quality of fish is fresh and meaty. Tartar sauce is a gem here, and it is home made. The scotch pie is moderate. I had this meal on a Saturday afternoon, and waited for about 15 min. Everything is freshly made at the back kitchen. The environment is clean and organized. Bathroom is clean and neat."

"I have never been to Britain, but I am a foodie, and I can say with reasonable certainty that this is the only authentic fish and chip shop I have been to in the US. This is definitely the only one in Houston (I know because I searched). They had perfectly fried fish that was like a foot long, and crispy yet soft chips (fries), and I got the tartar sauce as well as the mushy peas. It doesn’t get more authentic than this."
