"Best breakfast in the area! We actually tried going to Snooze for breakfast but the line was insane and we remembered that we had had a fantastic meal at Harris County Smokehouse some time ago, so off we went. There is plenty of seating so we knew we'd be able to sit down right away. I ordered the breakfast quesadillas and my husband ordered the chicken fried steak (to make it breakfasty it came with eggs and hashbrowns). The breakfast quesadillas are so absolutely amazing that I would literally eat them for any meal. I'm a pretty critical eater, and these are really truly delicious. Forget going to a restaurant that focuses on breakfast, go to Harris County Smokehouse and really relax and enjoy your food."

"I would avoid this place and go to the Cy-Fair location. The food tasted closer to cafeteria food than actual bbq. I don’t even think the brisket was smoked and was baked in an oven. It was super chewy, I couldn’t even pull it apart with my fingers. I would be embarrassed to serve that. On top of that, the okra was undercooked. We waited around 25 - 30 minutes for our food when there was only one other table in the entire restaurant. When they brought us our food they mentioned they were out of chicken. They offered something else on the menu but we didn’t want to wait so we ordered a salad. Management needs to get the kitchen in order. I would avoid this location."

"Went to a Business Neteorking Meeting, KBC - Katy Business Connection. Love that Barbecue smell at breakfast time! Had a Soft Taco with Brisket and Egg! Delicious! Support Local Businesses! Definitely going back soon! And that spicy sauce was a nice touch on the side! Plenty of parking. Good location at I-10 and I-99 Feeder road."

"I can't believe it took us so long to try this place! Everything from the sausage to the chicken fried steak to the French toast was so well done. But the eggs and home fries were my favorites. Absolute perfect potatoes that were crispy and light and delicious, and unadulterated eggs that weren't fully scrambled before cooking, just like I like them. We are definitely looking forward to eating lunch here soon, and I cannot wait to try the highly-recommended brisket! Expect to walk in and order at the counter, then have your food delivered to your table. And don't miss all the fun decor!"

"It’s like a “cafeteria-style” ordering line that could be made more simple I think. But once you get through the line and your food comes, it’s all good !! BBQ, BURGERS and everything in between ! Check out the banana pudding because HSC has the good kind !! Macaroni and CHEESE WAS ALSO THE BEST ! ! ! Harris County Smokehouse in Katy"
