"I ordered takeout. It is TX so well known for barbecue. This is middle of the road. I ordered the 2 meat dinner brisket & sausage. What I liked, meat was tender. What I didn’t like, what first seemed to be good portion was actually tiny. My cuts of brisket that I received were all 70% fat, 30% beef. Even with my reduced appetite Because of chemotherapy it wasn’t enough for me. I know this would definitely not be enough for any Men that I know. I won’t be returning, nor ordering from there again. Choices for barbecue In the Houston metro area are too vast for me to spend money And get a plate full of fat"
"11/29/23 Went back for the Grilled Chicken sandwich special and boy was it so good! The Chicken, bacon, provone cheese and the lettuce tomatoes with pickles was so yummy! My daughter had the sausage baked potato and once again delicious. The smoked sausage has its own unique flavor. Love it! The BBQ Chopped beef potato is the best! It is large enough for 2 people. (I cut it to share) Very filling. The onion rings were very good as well. The line is alittle slow; but it is well worth the wait."
"Absolutely delicious. I got the brisket sandwich and was extremely satisfied. I will most definitely return back. Moist and tender with burnt ends. Bbq sauce is also very good. Great people that work there and true Christians ✝️."
"Good smoke ring around the ribs. The ribs seemed to be the freshest thing on the menu that we tried. The brisket felt like it was chillin' there for a long time before being served to us. It was stiff and dry. The chicken also looked amazing but it was quite dry. Unfortunately, I feel the flavors were not complimentary to one another across the sauce and the dish as a whole. I did not like the corn. It was overcooked and gummy. We came at early dinner time and it might have been an off day but it would be hard to come here again."
"Let’s start with customer service… OUTSTANDING! Our first time here (my teen daughter and I) and cashier came from behind the counter, walked us through the whole menu (during lunch rush!!!) and was the sweetest!!! My daughter ordered a kids chopped beef sandwich, which was huge and came with a side and a drink for under $8!!! I had the sliced beef (tender, juicy, flavorful) and the chicken (well seasoned, fall off the bone). This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat!"
