"We were in town for Husband to see an Orthopedic surgeon for his shoulder and the day before was our anniversary, so we decided to stop and eat. Husband got Ribeywe. I got the blackened Redfish..while the meal didn't have a bad taste. I was getting nauseated by the time we made it home. (1 hour 15 minutes). I just kept feeling ill at belly. Needless to say we believe I got food posioning. I was sick all night, called in sick to work and still wasn't right by days end of following day.."
"The service was good, but the food disappointed. I ordered the steak medium but it came out well-done. The mash potatoes were almost liquid, not the proper consistency. The best tasting thing was the ceaser salad. This is my only time visiting this location so I don't know if this low quality is common. The restroom was decently clean but could have used a good sweeping. Parking is plentiful."
"I ate at the bar and felt like I was in a small home town again. The server remembered my name and treated me like a regular, amazing service! The fried pickles were good as was the cheeseburger, next time I'll grab a steak and run a comparison of others in the area."
"Warm and cozy interior with Texas decor. Service could be better. The ladies at the front greeted us after they were done laughing and chatting, and my server looked jaded. Food wise, they were ok. The potato soup was creamy and thick. Steaks were cooked to the right temperatures, and burger was good. I was surprised that the cheese fries were actually cubed potatoes instead of shoe string fries. The cheese fries were ok. Quality of food was so-so. Probably not a place I would go again."
"My daughter and son-in-law took my wife and me to Saltgrass for Father’s Day. There was a short wait before we were called. Staff is well versed with the menu and were able to answer our questions. We all ordered steaks of our choices. Bread and butter is complimentary. Steaks came out perfectly cooked to our order. Salad and sides are included in the price. The prices are reasonable. We have been here several times and it’s always consistent in food quality, taste and service."
