"Very pleasant Mexican restaurant. Chips and salsa are both warm- quite a surprise. They don’t have lengua- which is always an indication how frequently a Mexican restaurant is visited by actual Mexicans. Despite that, food is solid, bathrooms are clean, wait staff is very friendly and attentive."
"Maybe I just came at a bad time but my experience unfortunately was not good. I was greeted immediately walking to the door and my order was taken promptly. I ordered something off of their everyday special menu which was $8.99 leaving a 20% tip and I ordered it to go. I was told it would be about 5 minutes. However that turned out to be a total of 27 minutes until I received my food. I asked a young man who I assume was working behind the bar, if he could check on my food after 15 minutes. He walked off to check it but never came back with a response. I waited 10 more minutes and someone who I assume was the owner or manager walk through the front door. I was starting to get a little frustrated at this point, so I asked him if I could just get a refund because I needed to go. He told the waitress in Spanish, do you have this guy's food what's going on with it? Just then she was tying up the bag for me. He did Apologize but once I opened it to eat it in my car I figured out what happened. For whatever reason the waitress that took my order was outside doing stuff with somebody. My food was ready but was sitting and waiting to be boxed up. So by the time I got to it it was lukewarm and whatever meat was on the very top of the pile was room temperature. The person who was the owner or manager was very nice to me and I'm not sure why I personally received bad service since the other reviews seem to be pretty good."
"Food was delicious! Carne asada was seasoned perfectly. Elotes was tender and and came with plenty of toppings. The rice bowl was stuffed and the chicken had a great flavor. Service was great! Alexandra was very attentive and helpful. Definitely will be back!"
"My husband and I have seen this restaurant for years and finally after church said let’s go! We’re glad we did it’s very clean and quaint inside but the food was so good! Tacos Al Pastor with a piece of grilled pineapple on each was the perfect blend of flavors in your mouth - the savory and hint of sweet - so good! BirriaTacos - these were so full of meat and cheese. The meat was very tender and flavorful it was definitely a treat! We will be back!"
