"We visited the Rudy's on 290 and Beltway 8 on a regular basis, but our first visit to the location in Katy happily proved their quality is consistent. We ate the staple lunch diet - 1/2-lb heavy moist brisket (as in slightly over 1/2-lb), 1/2-lb baby-back ribs, 1/2 regular sausage link, and creamed corn. The highlight (in my opinion) is always the moist, moist, fall-apart brisket. Living proof that low and slow is the best way to smoke a brisket - highly recommended."
"Whenever I'm in the area, I always stop by Rudy's for some good Texas BBQ. My father in law loves their spicy BBQ sauce. It's definitely not the best in Texas but it's still very tasty and reasonably priced. We like the drink and pickle stations."
"Great place... nice decorations, a lot of space... tables was clean, there is a serve service bar where you can complete your sausage with other sauce or topics... paper place mat, to go bags, plastic silverware ans a lot of napkins ... and plastic gloves if you don't want to get dirty."
