"Usually I won't leave a review after just one visit, but this place has it down. Had the Acapulco Dinner and it was spot on with really good enchilada sauce and cheese, well seasoned taco meat and a tasty salsa with what I believe was chips made in house. The margaritas were also good, but different for sure. I don't know what the taste was, not bad, but it didn't even taste like alcohol so one large one was enough. Service was also really good, respectful and attentive without being too much. Overall really good and added to my favorites for when I'm. On the north side of town."
"I've been going to his restaurant almost every week for 10yrs. I went there last week and hardly any patrons there. First, they tried to seat me in the bar, which was freezing. I asked the hostess if I could sit in the dining room because it was warmer. So, she said I could sit anywhere, and I picked a table that shared a wall with the bar. Well, I didn't realize that it was right under a fan that was on high. I asked my waiter if he could turn the fan down, and he did. Next thing, I could hear all of the wait staff talking smack about me. A different waitress swung around the corner and grabbed my plate rather aggressively and took the plate even though I was still picking at it. She didn't ask. For the first time in 10yrs, I felt uncomfortable and left after paying. I'm not a complainer, I leave good tips, and I don't usually ask for stuff from the staff. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable dining there anymore. Sad to say, I love their food, but I'm not going where I'm not wanted"

"Nice little clean restaurant with very friendly staff. Ordered queso to start out, and it was pretty good. The salsa really didn't have much flavor with a hint of heat. My wife ordered the beef enchiladas plate and thought it was good. I ordered the Ixtapa Dinner and thought the hard taco, bean chalupa and cheese puff was good on the cold plate. The beef burrito, cheese enchilada and tamale was not so good because of the weird flavor coming from the sauce it was covered in."
