Lupe Tortilla

"Cool Mexican place with good food. Service was good, food was fresh and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would certainly return."

"Really wasn’t impressed with this location, I say that because I have eaten at their other locations and it was moderately better. We purposely went for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon about 2 to miss any crazy crowds,there were a few remaining lunch rush guests leaving. We were quickly seated in an area too small for the number of tables. Our server was quick to take our first drink orders and bring the appetizer we wanted. We were still looking at the menu when he returned needing a few more minutes, all Is ok at this point other than than the cramped little table The food was average nothing special, there are much better options locally that we usually dine at, we were about halfway through our meals when we decided to have another drink, no server to be found…. After finishing our meal (still no server) we decided to have a dessert still wanting a second drink. Eventually he came back and helped us. Maybe he took a break? The food was ok and honestly the best things we enjoyed were the guacamole appetizer, the charro beans served with the chips and the churros for dessert So I know what you may be thinking. Drunk review lol ……absolutely not I’m writing this the following day But you ordered another margarita?…. Yes they weren’t bad, had better but not bad The food was ok…. Would I go back? Sure if that’s where my group wanted to go, like I said we have found much better options locally Who or where you might ask….. this a review about Lupe not them, go explore for heaven sake lol"

"What's not to like about Lupe? It's good food, great atmosphere and superior service. That beef is SO TENDER!! Their prep and marinade in on point!! It's a must stop for us when in Houston."

"We didn't really have to wait much to be seated. Initially, we were offered seats at the bar, which we turned down. We were seated in a small room that serves as a pass-through to other areas of the restaurant. Although the picture doesn't show it, the area we were seated was very dimly lit, making it a little difficult to read the menu. Fortunately, I had already looked at the online menu, so I knew what I wanted. We ordered the Fish Tacos, and the Original CHICKEN LUPE, which consists of marinated grilled chicken breasts, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, peppers, and Jack cheese. Also, the Tex-Mex Combination consisting of (1) Enchilada, (1) Taco & (1) Chalupa (all with Beef). The meals were pretty good. We were happy with our choices and left pleasantly filled."
