"As a whole, Las Fontanas seems like a pretty solid Mexican restaurant. I was only passing by New Braunfels, but I could see this place being a good staple restaurant for locals. Key highlights for me included: the warm salsa, good charro beans, and friendly service. Some draw backs included: The portion size pictured is the “large” chicken fajitas which claimed to feed 3-4 people (for my group, this was definitely not enough chicken). Also, the corn tortillas came out a bit cold and stale (to be fair they did tell us that the flour tortillas are the ones made in house, but we try to stick to gluten free as much as possible). Overall, this restaurant is very family friendly, and you could tell they have strong community support."

"Literally everything about this restaurant is so good. Let me start with the food, the food is so good that even looking at it was mouthwatering, and don't get me started on the drinks. No other restaurant has prices like these ones. they are pretty cheap but have insane quality and taste. The service is even better than any other restaurant i know, they are so nice and they even go out of their way to ensure we have a good lunch/dinner and the rest of our day. The atmosphere is so mesmerising that talking to my friends and family makes it so much better."

"Amazing waiter, he went out of his way to accommodate us. We were looking for a hotter salsa, and he did not disappoint. He gave us two hotter options. The guacamole could have been a dish by itself. The main dishes were amazing. I ordered the New Mexico hatch pepper stew and Stuffed Avocado, which comes with a street taco, also a puffy taco it was too much food for one person. The Jalisco chicken was an amazing large delishes dish, also. Don't forget to grab a mint on your way out the door."
