"The "Top Shelf" margaritas taste only like sweet and sour. We didn't taste tequila at all. My husband finished his, but I couldn't drink any more than pictured. The food came out quickly. It was fresh, but not flavors we'd return for. The salsa was unique and tasty. The amount of beans and rice with our meals was pretty hilarious. I literally had 2 bites of beans. ***I'm adding this to my review in response to the owners comment.*** I don't typically return food to kitchens or complain as a result of what sometimes happens to food when customers complain. However, had the server inquired as to why I hadn't drank my margarita, I would have explained to her that it tasted like sweet and sour mix, and not at all like a margarita, much less a top shelf margarita. I'm always happy to try places twice, as this could have been an off night."
"I was stunned by how tender and juicy everything was. So good. The nacho cheese was like the most perfectly runny Tex Mex kind that you could just drink when nobody’s looking! Hah! Rice and tortillas were fresh and delicious as well. Loved this place."
"This place is a hidden gem. Fajitas were the best! Green salsa is amazing (you have to ask for it), and the margarita on the rocks is the best I have ever had. Don't let this place being in a strip mall fool you - it's amazing. BIG TV's for sports at the bar too!"
"I really wanted to like this place. I don’t know if maybe it was just an off day, but it seems like all of the dishes were underwhelming. Nothing was bad, but I’ve definitely had better. The drinks were the highlight of the experience. One plate of food seemed like it had been sitting for a while, it was not the right temperature and the taco was soggy. And all the plates just seemed a bit empty. The service and staff were very good and pleasant."
