"Don't be fooled by the strip mall setting - Blue Ocean serves up amazing sushi and Asian cuisine in an upscale atmosphere. The impeccable service and beautifully presented dishes are a far cry from your typical strip mall fare. While I usually have my go-to dishes at other Asian restaurants, everything I've tried at Blue Ocean has been so well-balanced and flavorful that I can't resist exploring their menu further with each visit. Plus, they boast a well-stocked bar and surprisingly reasonable prices, making it one of my favorite places to dine."
"The food was not good. The fish had a funky taste. I love Toro. It should be eaten by itself. It came with a sauce on it. As if it wasn't the right quality. The server was horrible. Every time we spoke with him, he would walk off before we finished talking. I ordered a beer that was on the drink menu. He brought out something different than my order. I called him out on it politely. He responded we don't serve that anymore and walked off. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one was because the owner was friendly."
"We've gone here for nearly 20 years, and returned here after a break after a few years since we're not in the area as often. We've always loved the food and the couple that owns it is great. Fantastic selection, nice, stylish, and relaxing atmosphere as well."
