"Both our children have been part of this school since they were small. My daughter who is now a teen is still going daily. This is her home away from home. Dancentre has the most friendly and safe environment for kids and teens. The owners/ directors are still in the dance studio teaching class daily! They’re music selection is so wide and rich. My kids love all types of music especially oldies because of them. I feel so blessed that my kids have been influenced by Dancentre of Edinburg. If my daughter decides to continue dancing in college I know she will have the best ballet foundation. And even if she doesn’t continue she will have gained so many skills that will benefit her forever. Especially right now that she’s a teen I see how Dancentre keeps her mind on something positive. They have a beautiful show every 2-3 months which keeps her focused on a goal. Thank you, Yvette and Yvonne for building this for our youth in the RGV."

Directors Yvonne Guajardo and Yvette Iannelli are the Cardenas girls from Edinburg. They've been dancing in this community since they were kids, since they took their first classes with Gretha Sullivan. Both are SBEC certified dance teachers and have also earned certificates from the American Ballet Theatre in NYC. "The Perfect Place for any Serious Dancer. This dance studio has everything from ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, tumbling, etc. Small beginners to advanced dancers are welcome. Your kid will not want to leave as they find true friends/family with the other dance students. The instructors are great and extremely knowledgeable in child development and dance education. However, this is a tough program for the conservatory students as Dancentre is known for their correct technique and precision of dance. If you want a place where your child can build character while having fun and learning the correct way of dance, this is the place for you."
