"Was very dark ( like no lights) really hard to read the menu! Mashed potatoes were not really good And the vegetables were overcooked! The chicken was good but I don’t think I’ll be back! The biscuit was hard with no flavor! Very disappointed"

"I ate at Babe's Chicken Dinner for the first time Sunday. I had fried catfish and the vegetables that they have. Little did I know, Babe's does not have a menu. Our waitress explained things to us because of the questions I asked. Long story short. I will be going back to eat their. The food was very good and hot. The service was great. And thanks JASON (Manager) for stopping and talking to us. Note: No doggie bag, but you can get a plastic bag and take any of the meat you do not eat. Great place."

"I’ve visited Babe’s twice over the years, both times for a birthday dinner with family. Simple menu: your choice of one protein (fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, fried chicken tenders, chicken fried steak, fried catfish) and unlimited servings of gravy, biscuits, corn, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The food is served family style and piping hot. Quality meats, but a little on the bland side for me and nothing special, hence the four stars. Service was spectacular! There are no reservations and no call ahead feature. Your entire party must be present to be sat, which does make a party of 20-25 challenging. Overall, an enjoyable time, but not a restaurant that we will frequent. If you like southern home style cooking, you will like Babe’s so give them a try!"

"Great Food and Service was pretty good, Our waitress was slow to come around and had No idea how anything was done or made in the kitchen and seemed not to care to learn... The Bowls with the sides were too small for our group and not everyone got all the sides and had to wait for more to be brought out. The Meats were perfectly cooked and the sides were great as well. I'm a Top 10 Reviewer for Google Maps and I recommend this place."

"While in Arlington a lot of folks recommended Babes. I knew I wanted to try the catfish and I was not disappointed! It was some of the best catfish I’ve ever had. The biscuits were buttery and delicious. I’m going to think about those biscuits for a long time. I loved the sweet and sour dressing on the very simple salad, but I’m not complaining. So good. I didn’t like the white gravy, but the corn, mashed potatoes, and green beans were fabulous. I went by myself but didn’t get anxiety because the atmosphere at lunch on a Wednesday wasn’t busy. I was glad to have visited. Best meal while in the city. I felt for the amount of food, price was perfect."
