"I dinned in at Southern eats with my mom for a good mother daughter bonding time on a lovely Sunday. Apparently every Sunday there is a DJ there from 12-4 and there’s a happy hour for mimosas for $3 from 12-1:30 which is a great welcoming atmosphere. One thing I can say is that the vibes were there and very welcoming. I will have to comment on the service though they don’t have many servers when I was there so we didn’t get waited the best but our waiter Troy was very accommodating. The place was very nice and clean which is a plus. My fries were great but my burger I’d have to give a 5.4 out of 10 it was juicy had great toppings and a great toasted crunchy bun with a soft center which was nice. But one thing I wish I had on it was sauce like maybe some mayonnaise or ketchup maybe some mustard but I did put ketchup on it in the end. My mom got the chicken and waffles and she enjoyed it but her eggs were over cooked . The staff is sweet so if you want a place to visit after Sunday service with the family to turn up stop by!"
"Food was good but service was bad had to yell across the resturant just to get help. Food to me was not worth the price only 1 piece of chicken. I looked at my plate like this is all you get for $20.00 and the 20% gratuity was over what it should be for the lackluster service. So this place is good for carry out only unless you want to pay 20% gratuity for poor service. I won't be coming back."
"We stopped by for lunch on Saturday not busy, we seated ourselves. Summer was our waitress she was so friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious! Came out hot and timely. We had the catfish bites, whole wings, dressing, macaroni and cheese and yams. Also daiquiris. Mark the manager came out and greeted us very friendly and professional. Establishments as well as the restrooms were CLEAN We will definitely be back!!"
