Ricky's Hot Chicken

"It was a small but appealing sitting area, very open, very cold ( bring a light sweater)The guy that helped us was VERY nice..menu is short and simple. Upon receiving the food, appearance was lovely. I am only giving my opinion on my one time experience. We ordered Wings and fries. Although it was seasoned Very nicely I had to use paper towels to absorb the grease. I'm not crazy about dripping greasy food. I really wanted to love it.. Rating: (this is only my opinion) Chicken: I give 4/5 for flavor. 1/5 for texture. Only because of the grease. (Some people love this part) Just request no extra grease Banana pudding. I'll rate this 1/5. It had the look of instant banana pudding, but consistency of gummy glu. Chicken: I give 4/5 for flavor. 1/5 for texture. (Prob sat in fridge longer than need be) Cost is not Too bad for Wings and chicken.2 drinks 1 ban pudding 38.00 2 people. Update : Mr Rick did reach out and rectified the issue, w an apology and a refund. Very nice and explained the greasy part is kind of there signature.... just ask for well done. I may give them another try. This time we'll done no extra grease:cause as I mentioned the flavor is nice. The crunch is perfect. Enjoy the flavor everyone."

"The restaurant was very nice it had a great vibe the place was very clean as well great service too the food was fresh and hot it did not take them long to make the food either I got the chicken tenders and 3 wings as well the chicken and tenders was very juicy and cooked to perfection I just didn’t like the dry rub on the chicken it wasn’t for me I ordered a mild spicy level and it was still too spicy the season was over powering too me I couldn’t enjoy the food like I would have liked but it’s supposed to be hot so it’s just me the food is great for the spicy food lovers and surprisingly the banana pudding was good as well if I do eat here again I’ll probably order some regular chicken with no spicy"

"Rickey has this place running like a well oiled machine and I love it! I got there on a Saturday right when they were opening up at 4. Line was already getting long but they were taking orders and getting out quickly and efficiently. I didn’t even wait 5 mins for my order after placing it. And everything was hot and freshly made and my order was correct. Food was delicious! I had a Sando, fries and nuggets. I will definitely be back for more."

"The chicken is delicious. You can go wrong with anything. As far as heat flavor in my own opinion. I think it's best if you go mild the very first time That way, you can truly enjoy the all flavor. And then after that, I would give medium a shot, but to be honest anything above medium is going to be unenjoyable your mouth is going to be on fire. I don't believe in tipping, so every business that flips its screen with a huge tipping screen on my face will automatically lose a star."

"Such a great value for the money....and delicious! The chicken tenders are HUUUUUGE, very well made...still juicy, but fully cooked and spiced well. Fries were great. For $10 it was a TON of food. We will definitely be back."
