"Fun place to go to for Mexican food. It's closer to being texmex, I feel like, but it still has more of the home cooked vibe than the big texmex chains. The venue is cool. Nice decor, not cramped. Service is tough to rate. We were there for a birthday party and had the Elvis room for the occasion. For what we had, it was great. There are Mariachi there, I think on weekends, taking requests. They charge $25 per song. They weren't bad. The Margaritas (rocks) were ok. You can taste the premade mix. Probably better to just go frozen."
"The host and staff have a great service, no doubt about it, however the food it was fine not that wow for the price, I was expecting a more flavored fried mojarra and a very chicken smoke oven. PS: the frozen margarita it was very sweet compared to the one I’ve tried in the past. Pros: service and atmosphere Cons: overpriced for the flavor of the food."
"We are always on the lookout for good Mexican food and decided to give this place a try. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated. They have a small stage for live music. Chips and salsa were good. The chicken mole was very good. Steak and shrimp were very tasty. The service was prompt and attentive. We will definitely come back to try some of the different dishes."
"Fantastic experience from start to finish. Anything but "just another Tex-Mex place." Fun and tasty flaming choriqueso app is a must try. House chips and salsa are delightful and salsa has an actual kick. Mariachi band on weekends ($25 a song). Mar y tierra blew me away. This was our first visit and we'll be back again and again."
"Service was great & server was very attentive with 10 of us. Atmosphere is happy. Everything was good except the food wasn't that very great. It was very typical tex mex food. The prices are over the top, expensive for some reason. But I had a good time."
