"Great option for something different than traditional fried chicken. Golden Roast chicken and catfish are very tasty and fresh. Sides are good and well sized. This is a weekly visit and the variety always keeps it fresh. $20-$30 for 2 people is pretty standard in 2024."
"If you have never had chicken from the Golden Chick on Airport Fwy in hurst, then you might think this chicken was ok. However for me it was unacceptable. I got the wicked wings and they had no flavor, they appear to be cooked fast but needed to cook longer and they were not crispy, the rolls were small and a completely different texture they were not fluffy and soft on the inside. My family noticed the difference right away we didn’t even want the rest of the chicken."
"Arrived at the drive thru at 12:55. No cars ahead of me. After a few minutes told that they would be right back with me for my order. Ten minutes later said sorry for the delay but will get back for my order. I left a few minutes later. No cars at the window. You have great chicken but will not be back. Terrible customer service."
"Having to change my review for this location. I decided to come to this location again since i had a great experience the first time. This time, I gave my order, and they said I would have to wait 10 mins for a 30 tender family meal. Mind you, it is 520 pm dinner time. No problem, but when i pull up to the window, the individual running the window is on their personal phone, laughing, messing around. I ordered 2 large drinks, and she put them in medium cups. I asked if they were large? She realized she made them in medium cups. Instead of remaking the drinks, she got a large cup and poured the drinks into the large cup. Then topped it with more ice. Very disappointing"
