Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

"We went to this place for my mom’s birthday. It was so good and the service was great. I had the fish and chips. The only negative was they ran out of sweet potato fries but their regular fries were great too. They were soft on the inside with a lightly salted crispy exterior. The fish batter was fried crispy goodness with a tender fillet strip on inside. All the food was served hot and fresh. The pot roast plate was huge with large scoop of tender roast, sitting on top of a bed of spinach and a generous serving of soft mashed potatoes surrounded in roast juices. Very comforting when it’s cold outside. The pot pie is the only thing that was not made in house but it does not disappoint either. It has a crispy, flakey top with plenty of meat and veggies bathing in a savory sauce. One of the great things about this place is you can order tv trays(frozen made in house). I haven’t tried any trays yet, but it’s a cool concept. They have tasty drinks as well."

"Is lazy part of the title for a reason and I missed the irony? Are staff supposed to be “lazy”? I understand that COVID dealt a blow to customer service but for a restaurant that has prices this high, poor service is unacceptable. First we were “greeted” by a young hostess who seemed annoyed we were there. Then much of the same attitude from our server. We had to ask for help serval times from other staff and they were not busy. Seemed odd! Prices were high and food was just okay. Silverware had hardened substance on handle at least two inches long that really put us off on the cleanliness. The place is beautiful with great music which did not match the poor service and less than memorable food. Feels like it could be such a great place to eat with some minor tweaks to flavor of food and major overhaul to service staff. Not sure anyone ever smiled or seemed happy to see us! Special drink of the season was a blood orange margarita which came with like garnish? I get being out of blood oranges but at least buy regular ones to garnish if you are changing $12 for a drink! Three people bill came to about $90 and I just don’t feel it was worth it based on the service alone. Did not meet expectations!"

"Always a wonderful meal at Lazy Dog. Service is impeccable. Attentive staff. Food is always well cooked and consistent from location to location. We had lettuce wraps for appetizer. Super good flavor. Chicken fried salad is so tasty with the cornbread croutons. And the Thai chicken salad had really good ingredients and tasted amazing! Also shown in photos is the tortilla soup!"

"Great atmosphere, most dogs are well-behaved. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Amazing food, did not expect the quality of the food to be so good. Pleasantly surprised. Becoming regular customers here. Every other Friday or so."
