"Had a great experience here. We ordered online which was a breeze, food was ready in about 10 minutes with text message updates on telling how far along our order was ready which was nice. I ordered the brisket plate with greens beans and okra and loved it. The green beans had great seasoning on them, the okra was not over cooked like a lot of places and tasted great, and I got a pretty sizeable amount of brisket which had a great consistency of lean and fatty, and tastes great. Also loved the BBQ sauce as it’s a good mix of thick and runny and has a nice sweet tangy taste. We topped the meal off with the banana pudding which was excellent. We will definitely be coming back!"
"I’ve been ordering Door Dash from here for a while and really like it. I ate in today with a friend and found the place charming. Nice country decor with plenty of space between tables to maneuver a wheelchair or corral kids. We got the lunch special, 1 meat & 2 sides, and were not disappointed. The sweet sauce on my rib sandwich was perfect. I chose the green beans and broccoli cheese rice. For my taste, there was a bit much pepper on the green beans, but the broccoli cheese rice was very good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I do wish the lunch special included a drink, but it was all still very affordable."
"Delicious food and super nice people. I have eaten here twice, both times were takeout. I had the BBQ potato (with chopped beef), coleslaw and a roll. There are three sauces, regular, sweet and spicy. I had the sweet and it is very good. The restaurant was very clean and had an inviting atmosphere. Definitely a new favorite place to eat."
"MILITARY/FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNT Got the 3 meat combo (sliced brisket, pork loin and pulled pork) with 2 sides (HOMEMADE macaroni and pinto beans)! Despite being slightly dry the brisket and loin was good and the pulled pork was great! The mac was also really good! ROLLS WERE AWESOME! LOL Peach cobbler was pretty decent. Decor is cool...definitely won't mind trying again in the future."
