"Black Bear Diner feels like a slice of Colorado in Texas. The food tastes deliciously homemade, like the food grandma makes. The service is good but, expect to wait on weekend mornings before getting seated. While they do offer mimosas for brunch, they don’t offer a full bar (no Bloody Marys). Overall, my family enjoyed our meal. We will definitely go back!"
"Loved the ambiance and cleanliness of this resturant. Our hostess and waitress were friendly, helpful and prompt. The menu ranges from breakfast items including sweet cream pancakes, French toast, omelets, biscuits and gravy to lunch and dinner times including burgers, sandwiches, salads, fish and chips and many more. Definitely recommend!"
"My family tried this for the first time and really enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be a typical diner and I was wrong. The bear claw shaped Stuffed Blackberry French toast was really good. I can appreciate the Corned Beef Hash was legit that seemed to be home made not canned; however, it lacked the hash and was mostly just beef. The bacon was smoky thick premium bacon. My wife commented on how the size of the sausage was of a decent proportion. The orange juice tasted like fresh squeezed juice. The coffee was a nice Columbian dark roast coffee made not too weak. We really enjoyed the atmosphere with custom carved pillars and custom carved bar chairs."
"I love the theme of this restaurant. The food is good, but a bit overpriced. They charge extra for everything. It's not like Waffle House were your meal has bacon, hash browns, and toast as part of your meal. I had the Eggs Benedict and Waffle and my husband got the Ruben Sandwich. The eggs benedict were delicious. My husband said the Reuben was good (but not as good a Our Place), the fries were blah, not seasoned and dry. Got overcharged but I was able to handle it at the cashier's were I paid the bill."
