"Superb pit BBQ. Set in an old barn type setting you can get sandwiches or meats by the pound. We had a large group so we got a selection of everything and shared it between us. Everything was excellent. Brisket, ribs, hot and mild sausage, turkey, Mac and cheese, cream corn, all incredibly tender and flavorful. They have a variety of sauces go add additional flavor. Definitely worth a visit for some authentic Texas BBQ."

"First time here, wanted to try a little of everything I could. We got brisket, turkey, jalapeño sausage, and couple of ribs. When you first walk in the foods right there and ready, you pick your meats, get it on a tray then they weigh it and figure up your price. It was different than what I’ve seen before. You get your food right away, but most of the meat was just sitting there and all of it was cold by the time we sat down. Then you pass through to inside and get your sides, everything sitting there in small containers cafeteria style. Grabbed almost one of everything to try. So out of all the meats, the brisket was just ok, turkey was good and moist, ribs were cold and dry, and the jalapeño sausage was really good. Out of the sides twice baked potatoes salad was good, reg potato salad wasn’t good, it was really sweet, which is odd for potato salad. Jalapeño creamed corn was good, ranch beans are all you can eat, they were good. Mac and cheese was good and creamy. Ended with two desserts, banana pudding and rum pie. Pudding was decent, rum pie thing wasn’t very good. All in all most things were just good, nothing great or worth going back for any one thing. The portion of meat in the pic was 40 bucks, everything else another 40, so a little expensive."

"Honestly, the meats are where it’s at, whereas the sides are just ok. Wonderful dining area in the open air, good food and atmosphere. The staff was very nice and friendly. They certainly helped us order the right meats. The sausage was amazing! Near a fun part of town, parking may be a bit hard if you have kids with strollers."

"1st time to eat here & I was highly impressed! The food selection was great! The live music was very inviting. The staff were all kind & had big smiles. The food let me tell you so many choices! My favorite was the stuffed baked potato!! The jalapeño sausage, the cream pepper corn was so delicious! Absolutely recommend, plenty of places to sit & enjoy. The beans were perfect. The brisket was finger licking good!!"
