"Put 5 stars so it will be at the top. The waiter (Mitchell) was snatching stuff out of my hand. And having attitudes because I asked them to add more strawberry to my strawberry lemonade. They tried charging me to fix it and I declined it. So they got upset. And didn’t come back to the table to check on us. I noticed and asked for the check. Which he brought back with the charge that I had declined . He was supposed to bring a fixed one back but kept walking passed us. I walked up to the manager and asked her and she rolled her eyes. He came and got my card and swiped it and it declined cause it was locked . I asked him to hold on while I unlocked it. And he proceeded to swipe it again and brought it back saying it declined and I didn’t have enough funds but said it loud like he was trying to embarrass me but I just stated for him to try it again and then he said I DID real loud. So I just asked for my card back so I could leave . Then they called the police on me and they came and said I can’t go back to that location or it’s criminal trespassing. I said I won’t because of how poorly I was treated . And the manager was the one who called them. Before they got there she was yelling at me in my face and I put my hand in her face and said mam please swipe my card so I can go. She said you can go when the police gets here and she KEPT my card. I was literally the only black person in the building. When I walked in I felt their energy change . They didn’t even talk to my Caucasian friend in a bad way. Just me . I was crying so bad. And embarrassed."

"I work late hours and have come here at 10 to around 11 at night on 2 different occasions in the last month. And both times I had two different amazing waiters. Very friendly, welcoming, also sold me on a drink thar was good. It is difficult to find awesome staff but when you do make sure they know it. The food was also cooked perfectly."

"My recent visit to Applebee's left me with a sense of disappointment and dissatisfaction. The overall dining experience was marred by several glaring issues that I feel compelled to share. While the service was satisfactory, the quality of the food was subpar and fell far short of my expectations. To begin with, the broccoli I ordered was rancid, emitting an unpleasant odor and taste. It was clear that the broccoli had not been properly stored or inspected before being served. This was a major turnoff and a concerning lapse in quality control. Additionally, the salmon I ordered was undercooked, leaving it raw in the center. It was not only unappetizing but also potentially hazardous to consume. The lack of attention to detail in preparing such a basic dish was unacceptable. The pretzel bites I ordered arrived cold, lacking the warm, comforting freshness one would expect. The cold temperature made them unappealing and stale, ruining what should have been a simple and enjoyable appetizer. To compound the issue, the accompanying sauces were also served cold, which further detracted from the overall taste and experience. Cold sauces can significantly affect the enjoyment of a meal, as they fail to enhance the flavors and blend with the other components of the dish. The only redeeming aspect of my meal was the iced tea, which was refreshing and served with timely refills. However, a single positive element does not compensate for the numerous shortcomings in the food department. While the service was satisfactory, it was overshadowed by the overall poor quality of the food. I regret to say that based on this experience, I cannot recommend Applebee's to my friends or consider returning in the future. It is disheartening to see a once-reliable establishment fail to meet even basic expectations in terms of food quality. I hope Applebee's takes this feedback constructively and works towards rectifying the issues mentioned. As a customer, I expect more attention to detail and a commitment to providing enjoyable dining experiences."
