"Been a few times and brisket is usually decent, tonight it was very dry and seems like it had been sitting out for awhile"
"Lunch special listed for 8.99. They charged me 10.99 and said there used to be a paper sign taped over the original pricing. Not my problem. I also substituted a veggie onto my meal bc I chose fries with the sandwich. The fries are so greasy not even the ends have a crunch to them. Grease is literally sitting on the fries it cannot soak in any further. Okra was $4 extra and I got less than a handful..lol I dont even know why they wasted their time putting it in a box when it would have fit in a sauce container. I usually dont post pics but this ludicrous situation gets them. I paid over $30 for what is shown never again TX BBQ. Enjoy that transaction."
"Went in for take out on my way home from work, I’m pregnant and was craving a baked potato and they delivered. Got my husband a two meat combo plate and he really enjoyed the brisket and said the green beans were super tasty. Our 1 year old loved the Mac and cheese! The sauce reminds me of Cousins BBQ but a slightly different flavor profile. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was waking into a restaurant full of cigarette smoke but the food itself was great and had good flavor. Sad to see so many bad reviews on here for a down home BBQ joint."
"This place is always packed so I kept telling the wife I want to try it, some day. I was down in Saginaw and she asked me to grab some food so I thought why not. I utilized the drive thru and was very impressed with the courteous and speedy service. Then got home and FLAVOR BOMB - I know why this place is always packed. Everything was INCREDIBLE - sliced brisket, ribs, beans, fried mushrooms, and BBQ beans. WOW WOW WOW...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"
"Got the ½ chicken special. Dark meat is raw, chewy, and down right smelly. White meat is dry as a bone. Mac n cheese watered down and tasteless. Okra was good. I do not like to be asked to tip when order pay at counter and pick up food at counter. Beyond tacky. Pay your employees."
