About the Business

Glory Bean Coffee Co

Glory Bean Coffee Co is a cozy cafe located at 637 Main Street in East Bernard, Texas. Our mission is to exceed high standards in serving specialty coffee and fresh food with the highest quality in mind. We strive to create a positive and comfortable space for our customers to enjoy coffee and receive some coffee education. Our goal is to spread the Grace and Glory of God through our coffee shop.

The idea of opening a coffee shop came to me after cherishing memories of enjoying coffee with my mom and grandmother at a young age. After becoming small business owners in 2006, we purchased the building that now houses Glory Bean Coffee Co. We are passionate about providing a safe place for the community to enjoy great coffee, food, and company.

We offer space rentals and catering for events, so you can enjoy your special occasion in our cozy coffee shop. Our Lotus drinks are perfect for summertime, made with clean plant energy and delicious flavors. Try our pour-over coffee for a less acidic drink that brings out the subtle flavors of the coffee bean.

Join us at Glory Bean Coffee Co for a delightful coffee experience and to be a part of spreading God's Grace and Glory.

"Can't make a latte correctly, doesn't even know how much espresso is in what. Paid $6.50 for a latte that wasn't even made like a latte. If you're gonna have a coffee shop then make sure your people know how to make coffee. Cute place tho what a shame."

"What a cool little spot. Coffee was so good! The pastries were really good as well. We got a lemon bread, cranberry scone and blueberry scone. The drive here was definitely worth it!"

"This was such a pleasant surprise to find this cute coffee shop in East Bernard! The furnishings and decor made it feel quite cozy and comfortable. We split a bagel, a biscuit, and a muffin, so good! They also had a box of "Blind Date with a book" that we found quite intriguing. The Iced mocha latte and iced chai latte! I love when small towns find ways to restore historic buildings into new businesses!"

"Wonderful coffee, delicious homemade muffins and scones, and super friendly staff. It looks to be an old bank and has some outdoor seating. Definitely worth driving that few extra miles for."

"Update Feb 2019, had quiche & brocoli cheese soup with coffee. Quiche was baked in cast iron skillet, chicken & CRUST was pecan, EXCELLENT, You will never think of quiche the same again with the crunchy not mushy crust! (will have to skip soup next time too salty and little toppings Very salty). So would give a 4.5, Reasonable price appx 10. Will definately recommend. I was there at 10:45 am and was able to get lunch! Update grabbed quick cup of coffee & day old apple muffin ($.50) great! Lunch after court. Renovated Bank, decor is cute with the Bank Vault open. Got 1/2 Sandwich w/ cup of soup and coffee apprx $9. Location has no sign so I have probably dtiven past this location 50 times not having any idea it was there. Service fast and friendly. Soup of day was chicken pot pie that had no broth and really should be called stew, and was more than I could eat. Will try this place again, they offered lots of coffee drinks and deserts."
