"Our culinary journey led us to Ana Liz Taqueria in Mission, inspired by a recent read about a Mission-based Chef's James Beard Award nomination. The atmosphere exudes a charming coziness, with a snug yet comfortable seating area. Our table was graced with homemade toasted corn tortillas accompanied by an array of tantalizing sauces, all artistically presented. Each salsa boasted an impressive burst of flavors, setting the tone for our meal. My son's choice, the Quesadilla Deshebrada, was a hit - impeccably prepared and generously portioned. Intrigued, we opted for a Fajita Taco, ordered individually, and its taste didn't disappoint; it was a delightful fusion of flavors. As for my own selection, the Flautas, they showcased the establishment's commitment to crafting everything in-house, resulting in a satisfying dish. However, the pinnacle of our experience arrived with the arrival of the Frijoles Charros Especials. A personal favorite of mine, Frijoles Charros, was elevated to new heights here. The incorporation of fajita and pork rinds into the dish was a stroke of genius that left a lasting impression. Summing up, our visit was a delightful experience. The dishes exuded a distinct homemade essence that resonated with each bite. The service was both attentive and efficient, adding to the overall enjoyment. Ana Liz Taqueria has secured its spot on my revisit list, thanks to its remarkable flavors and memorable dining ambiance."

"Highly recommended. The food was fantastic and not expensive at all. I ordered a vampiro and a taco de fajita. The charro beans need a little work, but everything else looks and tastes amazing A+++"

"At first I couldn’t tell it was a taqueria because of how the sign looks but I read taqueria and that made me stop. The restaurant is small with a few tables but clean. I ordered our food to go since my mom was at home. They have a daily special but I ordered a papa asada with bistec for my mom & a torta with carne deshebrada for me. We both loved the taste of the meats in our dishes. The bistec on the papa was tender and flavorful. The papa itself was well seasoned throughout, there was not a part that lacked taste. The carne deshebrada was flavorful; the bread was nicely toasted and everything on it was evenly distributed. I will definitely order another on our next visit. I also want to order their tacos since their tortillas are homemade and the meat definitely passed the taste test. Also their salsas were flavorful, if you want a bit of heat then use the green salsa but if you just want a bit of mild taste then the red one is for you. Over all it’s quality food, that is adequate for the price."

"Great tasting food, highly recommend! Ordered tacos de bistec, and were really good. I personally prefer non-greasy/oily tortillas, so that was perfect. Order came with charro beans. The buñuelos are also a must, great tasting dessert topped with strawberries."
