"Maybe I caught them on a bad evening? Seen this place on a few other foodie reviews. They had all high praises for The Drunk Chicken. That is why I made it a priority to try. I cannot remember the name of the tacos I ordered, but they are basically a chicken birria taco. They originally told me they were out of chicken, so I ordered brisket instead. When they brought it out, they said they “found” more chicken. Wanted rice and beans as my sides, but they were out of beans. So I got potato casserole instead. They have five gallon jugs with teas, lemonade, and kool-aid. There also is a salsa bar you can use. Honestly, everything was bland. Except the potato casserole was awesome. Everything else though was completely flavorless. Not sure why this place is popular. All the tables were dirty."
"This was my first time, and the food was amazing!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The chicken was cooked to perfection and had great balanced smoke flavor. The sides were very good to and loved the flavor of the bbq sauce. Will definitely come back to try other meats"
"Absolutely fantastic food! Their mac n cheese or tater tot casserole are the perfect side dish! Chicken and brisket were top notch!! Their cherry kool-aid is my favorite! Definitely a place you have to visit while in Mission!"
"1st time here , tried the 2 meat plate brisket and ribs with rice s d beans Everything was great, brisket had a great bark, awesome smoke ring and very moist. The pork ribs on point nice glaze great flavor"
"Brisket was solid. I had the most brisket. They did a good job with smoke and texture. I was just disappointed with the flavor profile. Could not taste the seasoning. If they could adjust their seasoning profile, it would be a really good product. I also had the sausage... Really good. No adjustments needed. Good location good atmosphere."
