"Tom and Tom's is one of the most popular coffee shops in Korea. My wife and I used to visit all the time when we lived there. Now we found out that there is one near us next to H-Mart in Carrollton! We were very excited to go, and the experience was fantastic! So many memories brought back! It's like having a little slice of South Korea in our own backyard."

"I wish I had read the reviews before coming to this Tom N Tom’s… Immediately when I walked in, I was hit with a sewage smell that was especially noticeable on the first floor. This seems to be a permanent issue because, if you look back and read reviews from 5-6 months ago, it is consistently mentioned. My friends and I immediately wanted to get away from the smell so we moved to the aesthetic upper floor before ordering. And because the prices were high, only a couple of my friends were interested in anything on the menu. The upstairs was very spacious and was mostly empty, so we decided to take one of the 6 empty booths labeled “reserved for 4 paying customers only”. We should’ve known we had it coming… seconds later, we heard a voice over the shop speaker telling us that we could not sit there. I know most stores have cameras for security reasons but it surprised me when they monitored their cameras actively to manage customers’ benign activity. When we heard the announcement, we moved some smaller tables together, and sat there instead. Once again, we were told that we could not do that, so we braved the smell and moved back downstairs to find a more well-suited place to sit. After genuinely enjoying ourselves for several minutes, an employee came over and said that unless all of us ordered something, we would have to leave. I have experienced penny-pinching before but not to a degree like this. After apologizing to the employee for the misunderstanding, we decided we didn’t want to pay money to stay somewhere that smelled bad and was watching us… if you rationalize it, it would seem more reasonable for them to pay us to sit in a stinky place and feel uneasy about being monitored, than for us to pay them! It makes me sad that such a pretty building has one of the worst coffee shop vibes. I can safely say that I will never be going back."

"Tom N Toms is a great place for studying or hanging with a friend! There are lots of tables and even a second floor full of tables! It’s open late and has great vibes!"

"Great, quiet atmosphere for studying, relaxing, or a date spot! They have 2 floors and plenty of tables/some lounge couches. Tried most of their hot coffee flavors and so far their rose latte is my favorite! They also have a variety of snacks such as pizza and pretzels with toppings."
