"In short, there's always some disappoint at this location, but it's still the best option by virtue of poor competition. It's the best option in town, but that's just because they're the only supermarket (besides maybe Walmart). Compare it to any other HEB, though, and it's pretty bad. The selection is limited - there are always things I'm looking for that they don't carry. It's nice that they offer curb-side pickup, but EVERY time there's an item marked as out of stock with no replacement, and EVERY time I go in to find a replacement and the original item is in stock, right where you'd expect it. Also, I got heavy whipping cream one time and when I got home it was fully whipped cream inside?? Like, how poorly did it have to be handled for that to happen? That might've been the supplier's fault, but it was HEB brand. Edit: forgot to add that the corn offered is consistently the worst quality I've ever seen in a grocery store. Like, the kind that's so scrawny and patchy that most farmers wouldn't try to sell it to a store."
"Worst customer service! I come from Houston where the customer is always treated right. I went in today to buy some sodas and when I saw the price I was ecstatic. I took only 3 12 packs for a party and there was still a whole pallet left priced at $1.26 labeled so on both sides. Once at the register they made the biggest deal about how they couldn’t honor the price and after us complaining the store Manager Jesse Dominguez with a very rude attitude said they could only honor 1 and we tried explaining how other stores honor the mistake made by them and not the customer and all he had to say was that is other stores and you don’t have to purchase them, we can keep them. I used to work in customer service years back and I know that is no way to speak or treat a customer. One employee named Kim was already helping us and she made it seem like he would honor it until he showed up and proved her wrong. So maybe he does honor some customers but not all. I wish I could of put 0 stars!"
