Milano’s Pizza

"Ordered a calzone because of a recommendation online and boy was that recommendation wrong. I can’t even think of a way to describe what I got. Best description would be like a used football that was stuffed with a gallon of marinara with a few small bits of something like a meat. This couldn’t be the correct way they normally serve this. I honestly believe they had a younger eager to leave staff that threw this together and punched the clock and headed out to the Friday night party somewhere. It was just horrible and non edible. Also order two additional pizzas and one was supposed to be a supreme and only had two meats , tons of sauce and burnt cheese. The other pizza was a cheese only and it was ok but also tons of sauce and over cooked cheese. I’m willing to try again only because I really believe it was a younger staff that just didn’t care. Unfortunately there’s a lot of that going on everywhere, but management shouldn’t be allowing this to happen."

"For as long as I’ve lived here, I wish I had tried this place sooner. Their pizza is so good and so worth the money to me. It way surpasses Dominos in my book. I have had to go Gluten Free for a wheat allergy. This is the best GF pizza I’ve had thus far. I appreciate that they have this option for me and that it’s usually very tasty."

"I only gave a 1 because there is no negative. This place was horrible we spent $95 and it was not worth $5. The pizza was soggy, the gyro sandwich had 5 small pieces of meat on it and cream cheese as a sauce instead of the usual cucumber sauce Picture inserted also was not served on a real pita. I don't know what kind of dough bread it was. We also ordered the $21 appetizer platter and the breading on there looked like old dry white breading. We are here from Chicago so read the reviews which seed good but was not. It went into the garbage. Order from here at your own risk."

"We were in Waxahache for the night and lucked into Milanos. The location was a little hard to find on the side street side of the strip mall but once we got there Abe took great care of us! We had the cheesy bread started and it was delicious! The crust was crispy and the cheese was well melted with little brown flecks of crispy cheese. We love it like that! My son tried the spaghetti and meatballs and declared it awesome. The meatballs had a little crisp top where the dish went through the oven. Really good! The cheese pizza was the same as the cheese bread super yummy! I had a calzone and it was super fresh and stuffed with meaty goodness! The only negative my family had at Milanos was that the evening sun really heated up the dining room. They may want to consider adding some ventilation or stronger fans. We'd definently return to Milanos! Check them out if you get a chance!"

"I'm disappointed. The gyro sandwich had a good taste but is pricey for only 3 small slices of meat. The Jalapeño poppers were not browned enough so the coating taste like uncooked flour."
