"This is the place! Inexpensive, good coffee, good servings, and good service.. Breakfast rocks!! Howell's is 35 min away, and I pass a couple of other breakfast joints on my way here, but they are overpriced and small servings. I'm glad to see someone still is aware you should not charge $50 for 2 people to eat breakfast."

"The white gravy toasted like water but the rolls was very good and the mashed potatoes was delicious and their service was amazing. And they’re were nice and sweet"

"I’ve been eating at Howells over 60 years. Food has been consistently good. Only one bad experience. New waitress gave me the wrong hamburger. Imagine my surprise when I bit into it and there were jalapeños. One time in 60 years I believe is much better than most places. As to wait staff. I’ve always have excellent service. Prompt refills. Usually at least two of the staff come by to check if I need anything during my meal. I’ve been there solo and with as many five always same cheerful service. My only complaint is that hours had to be cut. But that is not really a complaint just and adjustment in my schedule."

"This food is absolutely disgusting. I would never recommend somebody come to howells cafe and if you do, don’t be fooled. Never ever order breakfast steak and eggs. All you’ll get is a nast slab of ground beef flattened and unseasoned. Absolutely disgusting. And to pay 20 dollars for it. Dog food. Gross."

"Its okay food and Wait staff not very attentive. You have to flag down someone just to have refills on drinks I have had their lunch and dinner...they use instant food items and few items are homemade. (Mashed potatoes from box) This time we ate breakfast. Biscuits dry overcooked and gravy. Eggs little overcooked. Pancakes are good just wish they serve hot syrup with pancakes. Chicken fried steak too much crust and not thin enough. Decor inside....they need more lighting it is dark in some areas. Also dirty and chair seats worn."
