"Chicken fried steak was decent enough. But the instant potatoes and gravy were a turn off the menu said home made and that’s just not true. The menu said 1 trip to the salad bar with a meal was an extra $3. Fine but our check charged us $11 for the salad. Had to argue that. Our waitress said she had to ask the owner, fine but she came back and said the $11 charge stands. Nope not paying it. She goes back to the owner and I asked if the owner could come talk to us. Nope can’t do that either. Finally she took the charge off. I was shocked the owner wouldn’t come out. Our waitress was a gem. She was as sweet as sweet could be. I wanted this place to be so good but I won’t be back."

"Don’t waste your time or money! Initially I was excited another restaurant opened in town. Decided to try it out for breakfast with our party of 6. Upon entering we sat ourselves at a table right away. Two smaller tables were waiting on food. While receiving our drinks another party of 6 came in & sat next to us. We placed our order that consisted of the Billy Wayne (loaded open faced biscuit), 2 omelets, French toast, & couple plates of eggs with bacon & hash browns.To our surprise, after waiting 35 min. the table of 6 that came in after us receive their food, consisting of several chicken fried steaks & eggs plus other plates. We had to ask our waitress what was going on. She assured ours was coming right out. Ten minutes later my husband gets up to find any of the 3 waitresses & see what’s going on. They are still cooking our order. At this time, it is only us & the other table of 6 in the restaurant. After a hour of waiting, finally 3 in my party get their food. The table of 6 next to us is now done & getting up to leave. Two more in our party receive food. After ten more minutes the last person finally receives their food. The majority of our party is already finished eating. The food was NOT worth the wait. Bland and mediocre. An omelet with sausage was super greasy & lacked the cheese you expect. Veggies in omelets are extra charge. Hash browns didn’t have that crisp, just more grease & mush. For $70, there’s better places in Wise County to go for breakfast!"

"I’ve had the catfish and it was good. We had cheeseburgers tonight. Very good. The hamburger patties are so big. I could only eat half. Friendly waiters. I encourage everyone to give beans and taters a try. We need restaurants in Paradise and we need to support them."
