Big Joe's Pizza & Pasta

"We have been coming here for our pizza for over a year. I can say we really liked the food. Customer service was always so so if the owner was not there, she is very sweet and kind to our kiddos. Her sons work in the kitchen. The younger one was always very sweet. The older one no so much. It's always a hit or miss. Today after church was a complete MISS. The guy behind the counter was pushy and rushed us. It made me feel uncomfortable. I ordered a pizza for my girls and pasta for me and my daughter. I ordered the veal picatta and asked if it would be possible to have it with the fettuccine. I was told yes however I would like it. When it was brought to me the pasta was spaghetti and the protein was chicken and not veal. When explaining to the younger guy about the pasta he went to the one who took my order they apologized and then my food was brought back to me with spaghetti noodles mixed in with fettuccine pasta. I let it go and ate it. I tasted the neat on the plate thinking how weird it was that it was so white and pale. I ate it and I was telling my girls and my husband it was supposed to be veal. The woman had over heard and said "no that is chicken" I got up and told the guy behind the counter that I ordered veal and that I didn't receive what I ordered. He stated he had gotten me for chicken and they were "out" of veal. We will no longer get any food from here. Sad because we choose to eat local smaller restaurants but this is one we just feel is losing its charm."

"Delicious food, very fast, casual setting, very friendly staff and very fairly priced. We ordered pizza by the slice, a calzone and some spaghetti with meat sauce. We ate every bite and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will absolutely be back in the near future! EDIT: we’ve been back multiple times since this review and it only gets better! We try new things each time and are absolutely blown away with how wonderful it is. My favorite restaurant in the entire area and my new addiction"

"this place is fantastic. We got an appetizer, a super sub, chicken Alfredo, and a mystery dinner I had the chef make for me with chicken, veggies, red sauce and spaghetti...everything was very fresh, even the veggies on the sub were fresh and the flavors were fantastic. 40 bucks for the pounds of food we got was also a great value. Staff friendly, accommodating, and happy folks. If you've driven by and not stopped, change that! Can't wait to try their pizza next. Oh...and our food was piping hot by time we got home with it."

"I knew at first bite of garlic knot that I would leave a 5 star review. So sorry there is nothing but empty plate in my photo. My husband and I have been looking for authentic NY pizza forever in the Fort Worth area. It’s only 12 minutes away so now I know I MUST hit the gym. Oh it’s BYOB! The pizza was DIVINE! We took garlic knots home to go tho. Like don’t skip those. My husband enjoyed the mess out of the pinwheels. I’m not too much of a pepperoni fan but at a party I’ll have a few. Def try the knots tho lol. Annnnnnd and and. The price! Omg. They are so inexpensive!"
