"I loved it!! The workers were so nice and looked amazing at the same time. They were super helpful and just made me feel amazing about what I chose to get! I got a bag, a pair of boots, a top that makes me feel like a model and a cardigan. Five stars!!"
"They steal clothes and lie that they donate for tax benefits. I have proof of this and it’s disgusting. Do NOT sell your clothes here. Terrible; as the organizations they claim to donate to do a lot of good in the community. I have seen my “donated” items on racks and from there; and my recent sell that was “looked through” in less than 10min. and offered $14. When I asked for my non- buy items back they panicked; management didn’t know what to say. I was honestly just testing them- I already knew they had already tagged stuff that was donated. If you do decide to sell/ donate- ask for a receipt and file it on. your taxes. Eventually the amount donated won’t match up, it’s just so gross tbh. My opinion-don’t ever donate here or sell- just donate to a women’s shelter or CASFV directly and write it off if YOUR taxes. The honest way! I hope the IRS audits them soon."
"I’ve been a customer with UC over the last 10 years. I haven’t been to the store in a good while, though I usually go in to browse their selections and they never fail to have unbelievable prices and many great finds. Today I went in and scored a pair of jeans, a cute sweatshirt and a sweet pair of chucks for about $50. Thanks Uptown Cheapskate!"
"I love going and finding different things to wear. There is such a variety and I love it! There are clothes that fit everyone’s interests. I love working out, so i go to the workout area and look at the shirt and workout shorts. I also some sweaters and it is fun to go and see what i can find!"
"If you like to waste time and more money for used/semi new clothes this place is for you! Not so friendly staff and I thought thrift shopping meant spending less but this place has a different mindset :,) Also if you want to sell clothes they’ll give you scraps of change when they up sell those items…that’s business for them! Also the person selecting your items depends every time who’s clocked in, and honestly the clothes they actually “buy” are just not in the best shape. So if the person is not diggin’ your style don’t be surprised they won’t buy it! NOT WORTH IT! But hey you do you!"
