"I really like their vibe and it smells weird in the place, definitely not crazy bad, but it’s there. I really love their coffee and pricing, though I don’t recommend the sweets. It is way better than any of your Starbucks and commercial places, on top of being better than a majority of coffee places there."

"MoonBeans has been my go to study spot for the past four years. Up until recently I will no longer be coming here considering that the owner made me feel so uncomfortable. He came up to me twice, saying that I needed to buy a drink or I would have to leave. Although I do understand that business is business, I still do not think it is okay to go up to people persistently as they are studying and have them buy a drink when you say so. I wanted to take my time and order when I wanted to, not when the owner says so. Overall that interaction was so uncomfortable, and definitely made me never want to go back again."

"Love coming here to study. The atmosphere is very chill and peaceful. Love the big windows and the cozy feeling it gives. This coffee shop has character and charm. Love the little bit of darkness it gives inside the coffee shop with dim lights. Makes me feel comfortable and cozy. I can actually focus on studying with no distractions. Love their coffee here. Especially my hot French vanilla latte coffee. Staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Come and try out this coffee shop. You won’t be disappointed. Have been coming here for about a year and over time it feels like I finally found a coffee shop that I feel comfortable going."

"A little hole in the wall place in McAllen, Moonbean has some pretty good coffee but wasn’t necessarily worth the money in my opinion. The service wasn’t fantastic, I was the only customer there and no one really seemed happy to be working. They had a good selection of food and snacks, and they use boars head meat which is a huge plus in my book! Coffee was good, came out quickly and tasted like any other coffee I’ve had before, except it was almost $7 for a 12 oz. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come again but it was a good experience!"

"The service was wonderful and the ambience was perfect! Tons of seating to sip and relax! The first thing you notice while walking through the doors is the amazing aroma, it immediately gets you excited for what’s to come. This was our first visit so I ordered based on the suggestion of the woman behind the counter which was the MoonMud. We had it iced and it was amazing!! Can’t wait to visit again."
