"Great coffee, beautiful décor, very attentive and friendly baristas working at Rise and Shine Cafe! It’s always quiet in this coffee shop. The music is hip, plants and succulents on every table and on stands are a sweet touch. The coffee quality is on point. Nice place to sit and chat or just study. The sofa is comfy and the tables have a nice view to the outside of Mcallen Public Main Library. I love coming here!!"

"Absolutely a wonderful place for coffee, study, or work remotely! The ambiance is a must experience, with a smooth and peaceful atmosphere, all whilst smooth jazz is heard overhead. The food is amazingly delicious as is the coffee, and Ms. Mari Lou is such a professional with outstanding customer service! This is a must visit place if one ever needs to enjoy a gourmet croissant with tea or cafe, or simply to escape one’s busy schedule! A massage for the mind and spirit."
