"I had been hearing all about the Chicken Fried Stake from Zapata, and let me tell you, it lived up to hype. The half serving is more than generous of a serving for one person. I didn't listen to our server and went with the large. All I ate was the Stake as it was so much I didn't have room for the sides, which it's served with. The staff was friendly and attentive. Never had to ask for a refill as they were on top of it. The decore is quite midern and clean worthy of a Stake House."
"I ordered hotcakes with bacon on the side. And the bacon was not eatable it was burned,I called go talk to the owner but until now no reply."
"If I could a zero star service I would, only have been there twice and the 2 times it’s has been an issue first time I went to pick up 4 orders for me and my coworkers they didn’t put any utensils or sauces for our food which was soup on the side, this morning I went for a breakfast platter got my eggs very over hard done plate was all plain there menu says it comes with salsa ranchera on top but there was non plus the 2 times they overcharged their menu said one price & they charged another … false advertising at its best let’s not forget about the food quality …"

"The food in this place is always so good. The portions are huge. I'm a 280-pound guy, and I can't finish the plates they serve. I'm telling you, if you are looking for a good deal, great food, and AMAZING service, then this is the place to go. I gave a 4 star for the very important reason that their tables are tooooooooo small for as much food and the size of plates they serve. You can sit 4 people to a table, but you can not comfortably fit 4 servings plus sides plus drinks plus salt pepper sugar packet bowl napkins and everything else that gets cluttered on the table. The place is beautiful and elegant. There's this guy asking everyone if they are doing ok or if they need anything else besides the waitresses, which are also very helpful. I'm guessing he's the owner or manager."
