Scenic’s Bar N Kitchen

"Went for lunch 3 weeks ago and was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant/bar. I only received my second appetizer after reminding the server. She brought it out cold and said there was a mix up (sure there was). Unfortunately she was too busy having shots with the table next to us and forgot about her other 2 tables. I don’t mind someone drinking on the clock if the manager or establishment allows it but at least be on top of it and service your customers. I told her to cancel the rest of the food and was adamant to find out why after I told her I wasn’t interested in staying to eat. The manager later came to talk to us and again ask us what happened and I declined once again to further discuss it. She charged us for our drinks and we started to walk out when the server ran after us asking if we paid (are you serious smh). She stated she was just doing her job. It seems she remembered a little too late “how to do her job” and advised her the table had a paid and signed ticket with an unearned tip. NEVER AGAIN. So much for the hype and the Instagram publicity."

"Almost turned around when we sat down inside and they had rap music playing at about 90 decibels in the small, ten table place. We were the only customers inside on an early Sunday evening so it must have been the bartenders / waitresses music. My wife asked for a Chardonnay but they didn't have any. My ice tea was the weakest, watery ice tea I've ever been served. My wife ordered the Creamy Pasta Salad but they were out of pasta, so she had them turn that into a Chicken Caesar Salad instead. My Hatch Chili Burger was very good. The fried cauliflower tacos were good as well. The burger and the tacos came out 7 - 8 minutes before the salad and everything took a long time for the only table that was dining. Might have been a better experience if we knew it was a dive bar before we arrived."

"Service was great! Bartender did an amazing job balancing her customers. Hatch burger was spicy and delicious. Good beers on tap. Definitely would go back! Brownie - sub par but it's not made in house."

"Scenic's Bar N Kitchen was a nice little dive bar experience with what looks to be an incredible deck for outdoor hangouts and events. I can't wait to come back for the live music and to try out more of their food. Atmosphere immediately is just like any typical bar with seats inside with one bartender at the actual bar. The waiter was incredibly nice even though her help for the day was running super late. She took my order and started cooking everything herself. The Summa Burger was really good. Really recommend and the fries were the type I really liked. The Shrimp wrapped Jalapeños that I saw so adamantly raves about online I tried as well but was met with one of the worst tasting, saltiest appetizers I've ever had. I never take off more than 1 star for these one off types of circumstances as the waiter said she was having trouble actually making them but it was bad enough to drop one. Hopefully, this will reconcile itself next time. I will definitely be going back though. Can't wait to try out the deck and see the live music."
