"As someone who doesn't hail from El Paso, I was eager to try out Chico's Tacos after hearing about it from various sources, including comedian Gabriel Iglesias. However, my visit left much to be desired. First and foremost, the food did not live up to the hype. Despite expectations set by positive reviews, I found the taste to be underwhelming at best. Without delving into specifics to avoid being disrespectful, let's just say that it fell short of what I had anticipated. Furthermore, I advise potential patrons to manage their expectations and be prepared to pay with cash. The overall experience left me feeling less than satisfied, and I believe there are better dining options available elsewhere. In conclusion, while Chico's Tacos may have garnered attention from notable figures, my personal experience does not align with the praise it has received. Proceed with caution and consider exploring other culinary options in the area."

"There is something that hits different with the Chico's location on Alameda. I feel that the food is much better than their other locations. The tacos were fresh with plenty of meat, sauce, and cheese. The fries were crispy and plentiful. The hotdog was delicious (if it's your first time ordering this, the hotdog is in the form of a hamburger with sliced weenies, chili beans, and lettuce, pickles, and mustard) I love their grilled cheese sandwiches, too. The coke is always delicious. The employees were very helpful, friendly, and quick. It is usually always packed but it is usually always fast service. Extra parking in the back of the building."

"This place is a big fail. All the hype for Taquitos in some unflavored red sauce absolutely horrible. They also recommended the Chili dawg it was nasty. I will not be coming back it’s was truly a waste of time and money. This is probably the harshest review I ever left because it was so bad."

"Stopped in while driving through El Paso with my buddy. He and his family use to go when he was young and he wanted to visit while we were going through town. The food was great and awesome prices! Service and employees were just as amazing. Would recommend to others!"

"Get double order and might still go back for more. If your first time try the hot dog, wild combination, beans, pickles, mustard on hamburger bun, it somehow works. They sell the jalapeno green sauce to go for a reason, you can drink that stuff. It all works, dip the taco rolls in the green sauce and enjoy. A must when in El Paso."
