Our homemade Italian recipes have been passed down for generations, creating a truly authentic dining experience. Founded by Sam and Rita Maranto, the business is now run by their daughter Roseann Alonso and her sons. Come and experience the delicious flavors of Italy right here in El Paso. "It's a nice little cozy place to have dinner. My niece chose it for her wedding dinner and I was pleased with the service we received. They didn't have our reservation ready , but they resolved it almost immediately. I was just not impressed with the food, though, and I think it's quite pricey."
"Italian food at its finest has always been a staple for The Italian Kitchen! We love this restaurant! It never disappoints. Bring your appetite because the portions are large, and meals are delicious, and the service is excellent. The restaurant itself has been in business for 75 years, and, it does not change, but it does not need to change. It’s nostalgic, comforting, just the way I like it, with vintage photos adorning the walls, bringing back delightful memories of the various times my family and I shared many meals together. I highly recommend The Italian Kitchen and we most definitely will be returning! 5/5."
"WARNING - Do NOT get the breaded cutlet. It was a paper thin piece of unknown small breaded meat. We asked for the chicken patty instead and were charged for it. Please remove this $13 item from the menu. The cheese sticks were okay, likely from frozen. The rest of our meals (4) were good, but could have been made at home. 3 stars for the delicious Cannoli."
"So I do like the food and it had good taste. Took a long while to get to the table. I understand we had a party of four, but it took over 40 minutes, and they got one of the orders wrong. Didn't make a big fuss because it had already taken so long. There's no way I was going to wait another 20 minutes to get the plate corrected. We got seated in a back room and felt like the staff kind of forgot about us. Our drinks were empty, and we had to constantly ask for water or refill on the tea. Not what I was used to. It had been a while since I had eaten there. Don't really know how soon I'll be going back. For sure, I did not feel like I got my money's worth. Just didn't feel like service or food was worth over $100 spent there."
