"Love their food. Upstairs and downstairs. Our server was kind and appreciative also concerned when my Lamb pita was a little too spicy. Very nice. Manager was too. I did eat have the sandwich and they gave me 1/2 off because it was too spicy and couldn't finish it, but for those who love spicy it's perfect lamb pita sandwich!!!"

"Walked in and sat myself at the bar. I was greeted promptly and provided their extensive wine menu and food menu. Had the meatloaf which was amazing! Only reason for four stars is that all of the chairs both at the bar end the low top tables are extremely narrow. I am a average height and weight male and had to sit there with the chair digging into my hips due to them being so narrow. I cannot imagine someone with a little bit of weight on them or even a female with wider hips being comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant and next time I'm in town I'll be sure to visit again!"

"The restaurant had a nice ambience, however it was dusty and could use a good wipe down. Servers were very busy but the restaurant wasn't. The food tasted decent but lacked the wow factor. It had you in like but still wanting something just a little different. Hard to explain. The tiramisu is full of coconut and more of a cream pie, but still very delicious if your up for coconut flakes. The tacos are more cabbage then anything and very salty soy maybe. We had a fish meal but they over cooked the fish, sad bc it had great potential with flavor. The presentation of the food is definitely the best part of the restaurant so great job lead sous."

"We have eaten here (in the bistro) several times now and the food and service are both excellent. There are plenty of great vegetarian choices including four entrees, flatbreads, gnocchi and several appetizers and salads. We found the gnocchi to be perfectly cooked and the parsnip purée was delicious and there could have been more, chef! ;) The margarita flatbread was well cooked and the tomato sauce was savory and really complemented the cheese. The warm chocolate cake with gelato and raspberry and mint and tuile was a real winner and could have fed four of us for dessert. They also have a Texas Toddy with honey bourbon that was delightful on a cold night. We’ve had a few different waitstaff and all did a super job and were there before we knew we needed something. Highly recommend."

"Anson 11 is an upscale restaurant in downtown El Paso. The day we went the service was not very good. The waitstaff took forever, and we waited about 15 to 20 min. for the dessert to come out. The food was very good."
