"Visiting Laredo for the weekend, and excited to have brunch here only to be stopped at the door because of my allergy detection service dog. They had the nerve to say that it “may cause a customer to get upset” Are you kidding me! My dog remains concealed in a carrier the whole time and is trained. On the bright side, we went to Savora Cafe and they gladly welcomed us. I highly recommend Savora Cafe the best brunch in town!"

"After my band played a gig at a nearby bar, we woke up Sunday looking for a great place to eat before we got back on the road to head home, and we decided on La Finca because it looked good. Well, that was a FANTASTIC choice! On a cold, rainy Sunday morning I thought there was nothing better than the warm greeting we got from the hostess and being quickly seated. Well, the fast service and delicious food topped it. Then (not to humble brag but totally humble bragging) one of the people who came to our show the night before was dining there and recognized us and wanted a picture with the band, and the lovely hostess helped her out and took the picture. Just all-around a wonderful experience. Great service, great food, and a great place to just be (even if you're in a hurry and can't really spend too much time taking in the surroundings). And very reasonable prices, too, for what you get! Thanks, La Finca! Keep up the amazing work!"

"You won't regret giving this place a shot. I think 4.5 stars for their average review is a bit low. For our experience, it feels like a 4.7+ is more on target. It's a little crowded so not the place for an intimate conversations, but the lively atmosphere is perfect for a brunch date with friends, co-workers, or families. We ordered the French Toast Flight, Biscuit, and Tacos de Asada. We had the French Toast Flight to share. It's HUGE, and gives you a taste of all the favors they have. The French Toast is best-in-class with a buttery flavor, crispy exterior, and soft moist insides. The Biscuit (Bisqet) is delicious, but I'd like more spread options. The Tacos de Asada is GREAT, but still overpriced. There was nothing special about the New York strip, but the steak held up well to the additional flavors of Pico, Guacamole, and lime. I'd say $20 is more of a fair price. It comes with 4 Tacos. For $25, give me six of them! "

"I got the Benny's and the eggs were overcooked. The little hollandaise on the side was all spoiled lettuce. My potatoes were stale tasting and all small as if I got leftovers. Only a few pieces were full sized. Other than that the mismosa, service & choriqueso was great. Not sure why everyone raves about it so much."

"I ordered "DIVORCIADOS HUEVOS" ($12.00) when my plate arrived, it looked like slop, to say the least. (See photo) I was upset. But after talking with my wife and sister about the title... we came to the conclusion that it was supposed to look like that... like a "messy divorce" of sorts... the taste was there. It was very good but not appealing to the eye. Everyone else's plate was fine and elegant looking. Price... this would keep me from coming back. I wasn't aware they upcharge on everything. My wife ordered the "El Gringo $12. Which came with pancakes but you could swipe it out for French toast. This is what my wife did. There are 3 kinds of French toast. A classic, almond, and one with berries... my wife got the berries... we didn't know until the bill that they charge $2 for each fruit on the toast. $2 for strawberries, $2 for blueberries. There were 3 of us and our bill came up to $80... which may be fine, but all my son had were 3 pancakes, 1 mimosa, and 2 sausage links... also my wife's coffee wasn't hot. Their orange juice tasted like it was straight from an orange. It was really good. Their lemonade was also delicious. And my wife liked her food. I won't tell anyone NOT to try this place because the food is good, it's not worth the price, in my opinion, of course. I didn't capture pics of anyone's else's food, because I was too upset at the way my food looked to do so."
