"I extend my sincere gratitude to you and your team for an exceptional catering experience during our Christmas dinner at Cecil Atkinson in Uvalde. The brisket, turkey, and sausage were all not only delicious but also a highlight of the evening. The quality of the food and the excellent service truly made our celebration memorable. Thank you, Evett's Barbecue, for contributing to a delightful holiday feast!"

"Expect the worst hope for the best sum’s up the last 3 visits in a couple month’s. Food taste like been in fridge several days. Potato salad seems like it has pimiento cheese and only half way stirred up. They either drown the food in sauce or you get none. Meat has been so dry lately. U have to have sauce. My mom couldn’t even cut her sausage with a knife. People were leaving with half their food on their plates. No to go boxes and no empty plates. We complained to the ladies. No offer of a refund. Done eating there."

"The smell of the food gets you into the door of this place, but it’s the friendly service that keeps you here! Food was outstanding and cooking wonderfully. Don’t leave without grabbing a banana pudding, it’s dreamy."

"Hmm I’m not sure maybe caught them on an off day. We were in town visiting and picked this place off of google reviews. It wasn’t the type of BBQ I’m use to I guess. The Frito pie looked much better in pictures. My husband got a brisket sandwich and was expecting slices but it was more like a chop brisket. The dessert pudding was yummy. Service was quick but was standing for awhile trying to figure out how or where to order. The 3 ladies in the front we’re trying to look busy and just felt like we ruined their break time haha."

"Found this gem one day as we traveled through Uvalde, Texas. The staff is so friendly and considerate. I was able to specifically choose the section of brisket I wanted. The sausage is spectacular and the ribs are so tender they fall off the bone. Sides are delicious and the dining area is rustic but clean. It's a quiet spot to grab lunch or dinner. Highly recommend that you stop and eat if you're heading to or through Uvalde."
