"I’m back sampling local BBQ in Texas….this time in Lamesa, Tx. 3.5 stars because I believe there is always room for improvement. Brisket…good smoke ring, a little tight, a little dry, and fat between the point and flat not rendered out enough, but classic taste of West, Texas flavor of Salt and Pepper. Maybe wrap a little sooner (if you do). Pork spare ribs…good flavor, very tender, good moisture, need to remove the membrane from the back and maybe try and sweet heat rub to accentuate that pork flavor. Sausage is just sausage, a little less time on the smoker, pieces that I had were a little dry. All eaten within 10 minutes of taking it out the door after ordering. All without sauce because great BBQ doesn’t need sauce. Overall it was good, just minor improvements and could be a good honorable mention in Texas Monthly Top 50!"

"Great place with friendly faces. Brisket nachos were awesome. Clean bathroom, quick service, and fair prices. I don't get thru Lamesa often but would definitely come back."

"On our way from the Sandia Mtns to the Hillcountry, we were looking for an original lunch spot. Not much to find along the route except when we came across Biggie’s G in Lamesa, much beyond our lunch time. It was so much worth the extra time: this place is an original Texas BBQ, Mesquite smoked meat and more. The owner was extremely friendly and brought us a sampler of his meats, a meal by itself, ribs, sausage and brisket, so delicious. Our orders were as delicious and much more than two seniors ever can eat for lunch. We took it along, knowing to have another meal outstanding meal the next day."

"Driving through Texas and decided to stop for dinner. Let me tell you this was one of best decisions ever. The food was amazing not just the main meat courses but the sides as well. You can tell these guys take pride in what they do. Even better was the service we had best conversation with owners and they went out of their way to ensure everything was A+. I would recommend this as a culinary experience that should be experienced at least once in ur life. Pack your bags and head to Lamesa Texas!!!"

"Great little roadside BBQ joint. The Mac and cheese was next level. The sausage has a nice snap to it and the brisket was moist and had a nice smokey mesquite flavor to it."
