Specializing in unique wedding cake creations, we serve the South Bend, Notre Dame, and Southwest Michigan area. Our cakes and cupcakes are all handmade with the finest ingredients, and we work closely with each bride to design a customized wedding cake that reflects their personal style. "We got a 3-tier marble cake for our ~70 person wedding and got nothing but rave reviews the entire night. The cake was delicious - soft, sweet (but not overly so), and beautifully presented. The consultation experience was also the best compared to other bakeries we visited, and and Courtney was lovely to work with. The worst part is we don't live locally, otherwise we would definitely order here again for future events!"
"Courtney is amazing and a true artist! My wedding guests thought the cupcakes were fake because they looked so perfect! And they tasted perfect also. We chose an 8" cake topper and 150 cupcakes (assorted favors of tuxedo, German chocolate, pink velvet, champagne and blueberry lemon). She offers so many more flavors and filing options. Highly recommend! Everything was perfect!!"
"Courtney undoubtedly delivered the cake of my husband's dreams - all while being fabulously friendly and perfectly reasonably priced! The cake was the most exciting detail for my husband, and she brought it to life from his pinterest board, even adjusting to use our wedding colors, and answered all of our clarifying questions cheerfully. Our three-tiered cake (generously coated in some of the best buttercream I've ever had), included tiers of carrot with white chocolate filling, champagne with raspberry filling, and lemon blueberry with white chocolate filling -- the perfect menu for our July 2023 wedding. "Courtney at C'est La Vie is an artist! I gave her a few inspiration photos for what I wanted our wedding cake to look like, and her creation was absolutely stunning! It was a 3-tier cake with a solid burgundy base, the middle tier was a solid mauve color and the top was a marbled design! Our cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments throughout the night! Not a slice or cupcake was left in sight by the end of the reception! Thank you so much for creating the most beautiful cake a girl could ask for!"
