"This is a nice size bed of water. There only a few spots to throw in a line to fish from the bank. The boat ramp is one of the steepest ramp i have ever seen .. its clean theres a couple of rock edges someone could hike up on. Seen an heard decent size fish jumping up from waterout in the middle . SO BRING A BOAT ."
"Beautiful place to kayak. Easy drop and park, and easy to get in and out of your kayak. If you are a beginner and ......middle aged (if I live to be 116) like me, this is an important tip! Also, we watched an eagle in flight for about 5 minutes close to the ramp....a lovely spot."

"I went for a rare bird visitor, the red phalarope. Decided to follow an old trail which I'd love to see expanded and made better to get out to the shallow point to see the shorebirds. Came across a lovely yellow shelled turtle. Basically just following the high ground and getting to a viewpoint. It was a nice shady walk but really not maintained in any particular order. So I'd love to see a trail or two added for folks without boats who wanna see additional views. I noticed there was a decent variety of fungus also."
